Zachy’s Bidpath Integration is a customization requested by Zachys Wine and Liquor.

The Goal

Bidpath is one of the leading global auction software solutions aimed to provide an auction platform for companies looking to run online/on-premise auctions.

The Bidpath Integration was done so that our Netsuite environment could utilize Bidpath’s software to handle auction related tasks. These tasks included billing winning bidders, updating consignor lots, and handling auction lots that did not have winners, prepping them for future auctions.

The Highlights

Bidpath provided a SOAP and GraphQL API in which we could utilize to call different actions in Bidpath. Utilizing an iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) software called Tray.ai to serve as the middleware, we created RestLETs to communicate with the iPaaS and had the iPaaS convert the data to SOAP and GraphQL queries to Bidpath. 

Zachy’s benefited from this financially. For example, these calls allowed us to create new customers in Bidpath that made purchases on the eCommerce store, and create new customers in Netsuite that were auctioning for the first time. As a result, Zachy’s could market different products and services to customers that were not exposed originally. This has increased revenue per customer due to the marketing benefits. This is just one example of the functionality we included in this integration.
